Founder
Lanterncove was born from experience, passion, and a desire to create something truly our own.
Over 20 years ago, our founder established a successful wholesale distribution company along with her partner, sourcing and importing products from the United States and various Asian countries. Through supplying retailers across Australia and New Zealand, we developed a deep understanding of the gift and home fragrance market — particularly which scents customers loved and which products truly performed. After years of distributing other brands and some of our own products not related to candles, Sandra felt inspired to create something more personal. She wanted to build an Australian-made brand that reflected her own vision of quality, elegance, and timeless fragrance.
In 2014, Lanterncove was launched on the Gold Coast. Starting modestly with just three candle ranges, there was excitement — and uncertainty. While we knew which fragrances were popular from years of experience, we needed to develop our own identity. That meant designing our own logo, crafting our own signature scents, and creating products that would stand proudly as an Australian brand. The response exceeded expectations. Since those early days, Lanterncove has grown to introduce up to 15 candle ranges, carefully refining and evolving our collections over time. Today, we proudly showcase eight of our most loved and best-performing ranges — each crafted using premium fragrances, quality soy wax blends, and lead-free cotton wicks. And we’re just getting started.
In 2026, Lanterncove will start expanding beyond candles into beautiful new categories, including perfumes, essential oils, massage oils, soaps, and hand & body washes. Each product will carry the same commitment to quality and refined fragrance that defines our brand.
